This journal will not heal you. It will not hand you a new version of yourself by the last page. What it will do is ask you questions you haven't been asked before and invite you to get curious about your own answers.
It is a beginning. A place to start a conversation with yourself, to grow rooted in who you are and what you believe about yourself. The transformation, if it comes, will be yours. This journal just hands you the shovel.

Hi, I'm Sam Lazo
I write poetry, ask hard questions, and believe deeply that women deserve space to be unruly, tender, furious, and fully themselves all at once.
My first book, Leave Her Wild, came out of the darkest and most clarifying period of my life. Grow Wild came out of every conversation that followed it — every DM, every coffee shop confession, every late-night text from a woman who was finally ready to dig.
I made this journal because I believe the questions we're most afraid to ask ourselves are exactly the ones most worth sitting with. All love. No brakes.
